CNY + Valentine's in Phuket (1)

This is the 1st time I went for holiday during Chinese New Year and it was Valentine's Day the day we departed! It was planned by purpose la so that we can celebrate our 1st Valentine's in a romantic way..haha! In any case, our 1st day in fact a bit suay..wanted to go for massage (already reserved) at 4pm (we touched down at around 2pm but due to delay with the agency that we engaged, we had to postpone to 5pm. Finally when everything was settled with the agency, we went to the hotel (See Sea Phuket) which we booked through Agoda few months back. When we reached, gave the receptionist our booking confirmation and she looked a bit confused (had the don't know what to do face). After that was more than half an hour of calling which we didn't understand what was it about. Finally, we were told that the room that they reserved for us having air-condition problem and they couldn't fix it! She said she is trying to get other hotels to accommodate us! What the..can't imagine this could happen to us! -.- After ding dong here ding dong there..Finally they got a hotel for us! In the end we settled down at this Blue Ocean Beach Resort. Please be aware for those who are going to Phuket, a lot of hotels are of same or similar names! Double check where is your hotel located and direct the taxi driver properly to your destination! Just like ours, there is actually this Blue Ocean Resort (without the 'beach') in the town area. In any case, the hotel that we stayed still considered decent though it's a bit far from the town. It's very peaceful anyway and has its own private beach. Those who want to just relax there can choose to stay there. Shuttle bus is available at certain timings and you can take tuk tuk back to hotel after hanging around in town, costs 300 THB.

So nothing much for 1st day as the only thing we did was to enjoy our Valentine's fine dining at The 9th Floor Restaurant & Bar. The location is a bit weird la luckily we met this really nice local who directed us the way. It's at the 9th floor and it's open air! The ambient is actually quite good and their service is pretty good! Food were good as well but ready to pay for the quality la! hahaha..Here are some pictures for the food and my OOTD.
