Magic Time - Disney’s “OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL”

Woohoo! I seldom blog about a movie but this is one of the rare that I can't wait to share! Disney’s “OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL”.

Perhaps some of you have already seen the trailer in cinema (as shown here). Looks interesting and exciting isn't it? ok..at least to me it is!!!!

Why ah? I don't quite know actually but since long time ago I love to watch anything with magical contents although I don't quite like animations and cartoons! The reason I compare so is that techinically both types of movies are kinda similar as they are not real in life! But somehow I find magic movies give me more imaginations than animations and cartoons.

I noticed about the movie from a trailer somewhere in MRT (no time to stop and watch) but it caught my attention. Was telling baby I want to watch that movie but dunno the name! So search search search and couldn't find what it is! So coincidently, the cinema showed the trailer when we went for "Ah Boys to Men". The trailer just makes me wanna watch it more! Other than magics, there are also hilarious contents such as the conversation between the magician (after that become the Land of Oz)  -Oscar Diggs and the cute Monkey!

Movie Synopsis
Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful wizard but into a better man as well. “Oz The Great and Powerful” is produced by Joe Roth, with a screenplay by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire (credit not final). Grant Curtis, Palak Patel, Philip Steuer and Josh Donen are serving as executive producers.

So I've already planned when to watch it, have you? “Catch Disney’s OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL in Singapore cinemas this 7 March 2013, like the Official Walt Disney Studios Singapore Facebook Page, follow @disneystudiosSG and subscribe to the Official Disney Studios Singapore YouTube Channel!”
